Among all the personal finance applications for Mac, Liquid Ledger is probably one of the more advanced solutions you can find. Set in an attractive yet well built interface, Liquid Ledger lets you categorize all your income and expenses in your own folderrs.
You can manage multiple accounts, including some in foreign currencies and track your investment portfolio. We also quite liked how Liquid Ledger lets you set a budget and check if your respecting it or not, reconcile accounts and print out checks.
Although not extensive, the choice of graphs and reports you can generate is fairly good. We also liked how Liquid Ledger allows you to export financial data in multiple file types like QIF, CSV or TXT.
One of the strengths of Liquid Ledger is all the productivity tools that are on hand. You can install all sorts of AppleScripts to automate your most common activities.
Liquid Ledger also allows you to set keyboard shortcuts to perform your tasks more quickly. You can also undo and redo actions as much as you like.
